How To Book

Book Online

Online booking is safe and secure and means you can book at any time.

 

You have the option of having your tickets emailed, collecting them at the box office on the day of the show or simply showing them to our ushers using your phone.

​

A $3.50 Credit Card Processing Fee will apply to all online bookings for external hire events. This is already covered in the ticket price for Centrestage Theatre Company productions.

​

To book online you’ll need a Visa or Mastercard Credit or Debit Card.

​

Please note when booking online, you will be automatically directed to the WINDCAVE online secure banking site to enter your payment details. Once you have made your payment, please stay on the site until automatically navigated back to our Patronbase ticketing site, where your sales receipt will be generated.

​

Also note the Print Your Own Ticket option as you move through the booking process. You are not required to print your tickets as you may show them to our ushers using your cell phone.

​

If the system is showing some seats available at a session time you are wanting to book for, but you are unable to book them, this is because they are wheelchair seats which are held for disabled patrons and may only be booked by calling the box office directly during box office hours. These are usually available for sale approximately 3 days before the performance in question to be booked by the general public, via the box office.

​

Family Membership bookings for Season Subscriptions or for individual shows must be made via the box office - all other membership discount prices should be available to book online. Please contact the box office if you encounter any problems.

Phone Bookings

The box office is open for phone bookings and queries from

Monday to Friday, 10am – 2:00pm, Phone (09) 426 7282

To book over the phone you’ll need a Visa or Mastercard Credit or Debit Card.

​

If you need a bit more information our friendly staff can give you advice about the best seats available or where to sit if you have mobility issues.

​

Once booked, you have the option of having your tickets emailed or collecting them at the box office on the day of the show.

​

Please note that at peak times our phone line can be very busy, avoid frustration by leaving a clear message on our answerphone and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Book in Person

The box office is open Monday to Friday, 10am–2:00pm.

​

The Box Office sales desk is located in the theatre foyer.

​

We can accept Cash, EFTPOS and Credit Card payments.

​

There are no card fees unless paying for an external hire event with a Credit Card.

​

We are not able to give large amounts of cash change and we do not give cash out under any circumstances from the Box Office or the Bar.

If paying by cash please bring the correct amount. You may pay for programmes, sweets or ice-creams using the Box Office eftpos when attending Centrestage Theatre Company productions. This facility may not be available for other external hirer produced events, so please check.

Door Sales

Our box office opens one hour prior to each performance for ticket collection and door sales.

 

Door Sales are subject to availability and performances will often sell out.  It pays to check online to see if seats are showing as available.

 

We can accept payment by cash, EFTPOS and credit card. There are no fees for door sales on the day of the performance.

Unfortunately our box office team can’t take phone calls or phone bookings in the hour before a show.

Fees

Centrestage Theatre Company is a charitable not-for-profit and we operate our own ticketing system to help reduce costs for hirers and patrons.

​

We do not charge booking fees and wherever possible Credit Card fees are included in the ticket price for Centrestage Theatre Company productions.

 

You may be required to pay Credit Card charges for external hire events and shows.

​

All changes made to bookings are subject to an administration fee of $5.

Refunds

Please note that tickets are non refundable.

Choose carefully when making your booking.

If you make a mistake with your booking online, please call the box office first and let us assist you, rather than booking a second set of tickets online as we will be unable to refund your first tickets.

It is better to contact us asap if you make a mistake, so we can transfer/correct your booking. This will incur a $5 booking transfer administration fee.

Conditions of Sale

  • Tickets are non-refundable.

  • Tickets may (in some circumstances) be exchanged for another session of the same production, provided 48 hours advance notice is given and seats are available. This will incur a booking transfer fee of $5 and is at the discretion of Theatre Management. This is also subject to the approval of the Producers of the production concerned - who may be external hirers.

  • Centrestage Theatre Company reserves the right to make any alterations to advised performance times or dates, artist or programme details in the event of illness or any unavoidable cause.

  • Centrestage Theatre Company reserves the right to refuse admission.

  • Cell phones must be switched off in the auditorium during all performances.

  • Photography or recording any part of a performance is not permitted.

  • Smoking is not permitted in the auditorium.

  • Latecomers will not be given access to the auditorium unless there is a convenient break in the programme; please check starting times.
