Mobility Parking

 

One mobility car park is available in the car park right alongside the theatre. If the box office is contacted in advance we may be able to accommodate additional mobility parking. The dedicated theatre parking at the rear of the building is also flat and easily accessible.

Mobility Access Bathroom

 

A mobility access bathroom is available for patrons at ground level. The bathroom features a wide door and fixtures at a wheelchair-friendly height. 

These bathroom facilities are available all times when the theatre is open.

Mobility Access Seating

 

While some of our seats in the first two rows can be removed to accommodate wheelchair access, eight in particular are reserved for each performance for people with mobility issues.

 

These are seats A 1 & 2, A 24 & 25, B 1 & 2, B 24 & 25.

 

These seats are unable to be booked online and you must contact the box office directly on 09 426 7282 during box office hours to secure them.

These seats are held for wheelchair patrons until one week before a performance.

 

At times of high demand these may be released earlier for general sale, so

if you do require wheelchair seating please contact us as soon as possible to book.

Mobility Access For Stage & Rehearsal Room

For performers, members, volunteers, patrons, hirers or attendees of classes or workshops who require access to the rehearsal room, dressing rooms and stage, there is ramp access on the side of the building (facing the Nexus Business Park).This provides one-level access to the rehearsal room, dressing rooms, stage and workshop. There are also ramped emergency exits placed on the opposite side of the building.

Special Dietary Requirements

For patrons attending performances where food is provided as part of your ticket (e.g. Broadway Gals or our musical revue) , please contact the theatre office at least one week prior to attending the performance if you have special dietary requirements (e.g. Coeliac disease/gluten/dairy intolerance or nut allergy) so we can cater to your requirements. Call the theatre office on 09 426 7282, Mon to Fri from 10am till 2pm.
