Wahine Tanetanga - Art Exhibition

As a first for Centrestage Theatre
Company, we ask our audience to
be challenged by new work to
accompany and complement our
The artist explores the intersection of
femininity and masculinity in this exhibition, looking
critically at the perception of the body and mind.

The artwork is designed to explore and expand the themes
of A Streetcar Named Desire.
Samantha Ashton grew up on the Hibiscus Coast before attending Victoria University of Wellington for her
bachelors degree. Currently she is completing honours at the University of Auckland.

This exhibition will be on display on our mezzanine floor throughout the season of A Streetcar Named Desire

Cinders in Lockdown!

Due to changing Covid Alert Levels we have had to cancel the season of Cinders in Lockdown.

All ticket-holders are being contacted regarding refunds or donation of ticket. 

We are working on possible new season dates for this for 2022 pending availability of suitable dates and cast and creative team.
